Lateralus Divinity

This work encompasses many ideas. It is an attempt to capture many of the metaphysical/new age/occult/spiritual concepts. I have connected this piece with the song from the band Tool entitled “Lateralus” since that is the only song I have yet to hear that does such an excellent job of bringing together all of the metaphysical/new age/occult/spiritual concepts. In this work the human is shown as the divine being that it truly is. The 7 major charkas are shown going up through the spinal cord (Prana tube). The charkas are energy centers. There are minor other minor ones all throughout the body. When a chakra is unhealthy (closed or just barely spinning) this can cause physical, emotional, or mental problems in certain areas that are connected with that chakra. A chakra can be reopened with meditation or by someone who was the healing capabilities to do so. I have begun doing this, and so far have healed 4 people. Life energy, or prana, comes in from the crown chakra (top of head) and flows down through each chakra allowing you to live. From the root charka ( #1, in red at the bottom) extends the grounding cord. This cord extends to the center of the Earth, where it is then wrapped around the white light ball that lies there. This helps to keep the spiritualists grounded when leaving their body during meditations. The planets around her head show how they effect us from birth (the study of Astrology). Our personalities are created by the alignment of all of the planets at our birth as well as the experiences we have throughout our life. The planets and stars are constantly sending large amounts of their energies towards us affecting us in every way. The Leo symbol on the sun has two purposes. One is that the model for this is a Leo, and the other purpose is that Leo is ruled by the sun and represents self-consciousness or human awareness (Alice Bailey). The Taurus symbol at the bottom represents the artist (I am a Taurus) as well as that Taurus is the earthiest sign. The large crosses coming up from the Earth represent Christ Consciousness, or the fact that we are all sons and daughters of “god”. The spirals coming from those represent the pattern of growth found in all things. This can be seen from the atomic level, up to the universal level. Look up Fibanocci sequence. The energies around her body show the aura. Everyone has an aura around them, which is made up of a mix of the energies they are giving off and the energies they are receiving. The earth also has an aura as well. There is much, much, much more to this…a lot of which is hard to completely explain in a few words. Again, all of that is shown in this picture is connected with each other, for all that is is ONE. Also, all these ideas are being proved more and more by science. I’d more than happy to answer any questions about any of this. This song is my all time favorite song. Every time I hear it I feel healed, inspired, enlightened, uplifted, and so much more. to witness the beauty, to bathe in the fountain,
to swing on the spiral
of our divinity and still be a human.
With my feet upon the ground I lose myself
between the sounds and open wide to suck it in,
I feel it move across my skin.
I'm reaching up and reaching out,
I'm reaching for the random or what ever will bewilder me.
And following our will and wind we may just go where no one's been.
